Video Game Episode 7 - July 2012

Welcome back to another exciting and action packed and fun filled and other words episode of the Nola Nerd Podcast Video Game show! This month we take a look back at the month that was July of 2012. Ah, July. Traditionally one of the slowest and weakest months of video game sales, in recent years the realm of downloadable games has surfaced to claim July as their rightful place. XBox Live Summer of Arcade begins, and the tail end of the month saw the first outing of Playstations Month of Play. We also were graced with the wallet draining Steam Summer Sale. While the releases were few and far between, there were still a few nuggets of post E3 gaming news to be had as well as a few quality games worth spending time and money on. So dive in, and listen to the Nola Nerds break it all down for you.
