The NOLAnerds are here with the third installment of their weekly comic book based TV recap show! Do we utilize our comics show theme of naming episodes after Pokemon? Our itinerary included: Arkham Origins (Gotham Watch)

Welcome to Episode 146, code named Cthullu. Why? Who even knows. Probably because 146 is a weird number for a title. But that has nothing to do with comics! This week the NOLAnerds dive head first into the opening week of DC's Future's End one shot initiative, where every issue is time skipped 5 years later and may or may not tie into the weekly ongoing, Future's End. We also are 'treated' to the finale of Original Sin, find out Prof X's actual original sin, and so much more! So join NOLAnerds Matt "Penny-One" Finneman and Chris "Human Bed" Robinson as they tackle the week in comics! Books of the Week

Wow. WOW guys. This month right here. Which suits us and our wallets just fine here at NOLAnerd HQ considering how much I spent at San Diego last week... ouch. So join NOLAnerds Matt "Wonder Woman Team Up" Finneman and Chris "Nail Biter" Robinson as they chat with the interwebs about comics! Books of the Week

This episode is brought to you 7 days late because Matt was in San Diego for Comic Con International like a true comics nerd. Sadly that meant he didn't get to read this weeks' comics until now. But the week had SO MANY great books that a show had to be done to give them the justice they deserve. This week the NOLAnerds discuss several great Batman books, the best issue of Unwritten: Apocalypse to date, read a few Original Sin tie ins, gush over Image comics, and essentially have the most high rated books (4.0s) in one single episode ever. So join NOLAnerds Matt "San Diego Bound" Finneman and Chris "Lame Ass Who Didn't Go to San Diego" Robinson as they play catch up on the weeks' quality. Books of the Week

This week was a refreshing breather from the past few weeks worth of comics. In an odd twist, Marvel had a very strong showing book quantity wise for us this week, and there was nary a Vertigo or an Image book to be found! This week we discussed the difficulty of directing Ant-Man, celebrate the return of a book that has been missing from our lives, get shocked by Original Sin, try our damnedest to get Chris to say "The Others" and much more! So join NOLAnerds Matt "Angry Iron Fist" Finneman and Chris "Loves The Others" Robinson and kinda sorta featuring the return of Ashley "Where Am I?" Rose Butler as they talk and junk.

Our wallets breathed a sigh of relief this week as the comic Gods deemed us worthy of having a smaller load of books to buy. It has its pros and cons, as all things do. Plus side? Smaller budget needed. Down side? This week was merely a week of average books with few standouts. This week we say goodbye to Trillium, welcome The Others into the DC family, and ponder how essential Domino is for Chris to read Punisher. New year of video games folks! And with that new year comes a glut of new info and a dearth of new games. This month was ruled by Kickstarter, with several of the biggest releases being born from the community driven site last year or the year before. This month also brought us HUGE Playstation news from CES, a wealth of leaked info about Microsoft, numerous negative reports about Nintendo's financial future, as well as the reveal of the first wave of PC Steam Machines. So join NOLAnerds Matt "PS NOW" Finneman, Chris "Kingdom Hearts is the Devil" Robinson, Ronald "Lightning Lover" Bienemy, Mason "Understands the Kingdom Hearts Timeline" Maldonado, and Zack "Frames per Second Devil's Advocate" St. Onge as they discuss ALL THE THINGS! It's the end of the year and the end of an era folks. With next gen in full swing and selling like hot cakes, we begin to say goodbye to the current gen. But it will be going out in style if 2014 has anything to say about it! Not much went down this month, either in the way of news or game releases, but we are here anyway! From the cringe worthy escapades of the Spike VGX awards to another eventful Nintendo Direct, from Peggle 2 to Gran Turismo 6, we discuss it all! So join NOLAnerds Matt "Cranky About Cranky" Finneman, Chris "Lover of Kingdom Hearts Lore" Robinson, and Ronald "Mecha Kyuubi" Bienemy as they talk and then talk some more!
